"Be hard, whatever is done for love
is beyond good and evil. Above the
ape is man, and above man the
superman, forget not thy whip!"

An Overview
The etymology of the word Satan does not
have it's origins in the Old Testament,
essentially, the Hebrew word "Satan" is a
corruption of the Greek word [Aitia]-which is,\
"an accusation" such as in Aeschylus-[Aitia ekho].
In Greek of the classical period, [Aitia] and [diabole]
often were used to mean the same thing, especially
when a Wrong or Bad sense was required, such
as in a "false accusation".
So Satan as a word, represents "Adversary" in the sense
of opposing norm, the accepted. The word devil is
derived from the Greek word above, via the Latin diabolic.
Thus the figure of Satan is not an invention of the
Hebrew religion, but in fact a representation of
opposition, Heresy; a refusal to accept the norm.
Satan is regarded, by Satanists, as an archetype of this
spirit of opposition, of Defiance, of Pride,
some wish to regard the figure
of Satan as a anthropomorphic deity but as for
worshiping this deity :Satanism demands study
not worship, worship is for slaves.
Fundamentally, Satanism is antinomian and anti-
religious. Religion means submission to some other
authority other than the individual. Satanism is also
a world view, a Weltanschauung. Whereas most re-
legions rely on dogma, revelation, and ultimately fear,
the Satanic philosophy is a means of liberation: internal and external.
